A Conversation With Michael Farrell
Michael Joseph Farrell was born on February 6, 1939 in St. Paul, Minnesota. At the age of 2 a move to Hollywood,
where his father's work as a studio carpenter provided young Mike's first glimpse of the world behind the studio
walls, began his fascination with the movies, one he has never fully lost.
After graduating from Hollywood High and a hitch in the Marines, he worked a number of jobs - including a stint
as private investigator - while pursuing a career as an actor, beginning with small parts in films like "The Graduate"
and "The Americanization of Emily".
Mike is best known for playing Captain B.J. Hunnicutt in the ever popular series M*A*S*H. His eight years with the
memorable show allowed the opportunity to both write and direct several episodes, earning him nominations for Director's
Guild and Emmy Awards.

That realization was a catalyst for Harry, and he subsequently founded World of Children and pledged to dedicate the rest of his
life to creating a "Nobel Prize© for Children" awards program to support social changemakers helping children in need around the world.
A decade later, Harry now devotes all his time to running World of Children – serving as Board Chair and visiting World of Children
honorees around the globe along with his wife Kay-Isaacson Leibowitz, a World of Children board member and retired fashion executive
who has served at the helm of leading brands such as Banana Republic and Victoria's Secret.
Harry's honors include the Procter & Gamble Alumni Humanitarian Award in 2007, the Reclaiming Youth International Child Advocacy
Award in 2006 and the Starr Commonwealth Child Advocacy Award in 1999.

A Conversation With William Marks
In the early 1970s, as a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) - he researched fish kills and industrial pollution.
As a result, a major industry pled guilty after being indicted by a Federal Grand Jury based on Marks' water sample and
photographic evidence under the 1899 Refuse Act. He was subsequently honored by the United States Environmental Protection
Agency (USEPA Region II) with the "Citizen Activist Of The Year" award. After college he traveled Europe and Northwest
Africa in order to grasp the significance of the early industrial revolution and old world water management methods. Upon
returning to the U.S., he worked as Senior Environmental Analyst for the City of Newark developing programs for storm water
runoff; public water supply, and derelict barge and pier removal.
Mr. Marks resigned from Newark to do a self-defined coast-to-coast horseback odyssey across America entitled, "Ride for Nature" -
to help raise water consciousness. The trek used a lead horse and packhorse; lasted for 20 months; passed through 25 states,
and traversed over 7,000 miles while living outside full time. During the journey - Marks spoke before audiences at college
campuses; ranch and equestrian associations; civic organizations; Rotary; chambers of commerce; Lions clubs; museums, and
many others. "Ride For Nature" received major national and international media attention.
